These terms govern your use of the Centro Talent website and our recruitment services. Please read them carefully. By using our Site or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About us
Centro Talent Limited ("Centro Talent", "we", "us", "our") is a specialist executive search and recruitment consultancy registered in England and Wales. We operate the website at centrotalent.com (the "Site") and provide recruitment and executive search services to both candidates and client organisations.

2. Definitions
In these terms:
• "Candidate" means any individual who registers with us, submits their details, or engages with us in connection with seeking employment or contract opportunities.
• "Client" means any organisation or individual that engages Centro Talent to source, introduce, or place Candidates.
• "Introduction" means the provision of a Candidate's details (including CV, profile, or referral) to a Client by Centro Talent.
• "Placement" means the engagement of a Candidate by a Client following an Introduction by Centro Talent, whether on a permanent, fixed-term, or contract basis.
• "Terms of Business" means the separate fee agreement entered into between Centro Talent and a Client, which governs the commercial terms of our search and placement services. These website terms do not replace or supersede any signed Terms of Business.
• "Site" means the website at centrotalent.com and any associated pages.
3. Use of our website
Permitted use
You may use our Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
• Use the Site in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation
• Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its related systems
• Introduce viruses, malicious code, or other harmful material to the Site
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Site without our written consent
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation
Availability
We do not guarantee that the Site will be available at all times or free from errors. We reserve the right to suspend, withdraw, or restrict access to all or part of the Site at any time without notice.
4. Our recruitment services — candidates
Registration and profile
By submitting your details to Centro Talent — whether via the Site, email, LinkedIn, or any other channel — you confirm that all information provided is accurate, up to date, and not misleading. You are responsible for keeping your information current.
Consent to introduction
By engaging with our services, you consent to Centro Talent presenting your profile and CV to relevant Client organisations where we believe there may be a suitable opportunity. We will always seek to discuss opportunities with you before submitting your profile to a specific Client. We will not submit your details to a Client you have explicitly asked us to exclude.
No guarantee of placement
We do not guarantee that our services will result in an offer of employment or engagement. Centro Talent acts as an intermediary and has no control over hiring decisions made by Clients.
Right to work
It is your responsibility to ensure you hold the right to work in any jurisdiction for which you are being considered. Centro Talent may request documentation to verify this as part of the placement process.
5. Our recruitment services — clients
Terms of Business
The commercial terms that govern our executive search and recruitment services to Clients — including fees, rebate provisions, retained search arrangements, and exclusivity — are set out in a separate Terms of Business document, which must be agreed in writing before we commence an active search. These website terms do not constitute an offer or agreement to provide services and do not override any signed Terms of Business.
Fees
Where no separate Terms of Business have been signed, any use of an Introduction made by Centro Talent (including hiring a Candidate introduced by us, whether directly or through a third party, within 12 months of the Introduction) will be subject to our standard fee terms. By proceeding with a Placement in these circumstances, the Client agrees to pay Centro Talent's applicable fee.
Client obligations
Clients agree to:
• Deal with Candidates introduced by Centro Talent in good faith and in accordance with applicable employment law
• Notify Centro Talent promptly of any offer, acceptance, or engagement of an introduced Candidate
• Not circumvent Centro Talent by engaging an introduced Candidate through a third party or by engaging the Candidate directly while purporting not to use our Introduction
• Handle all personal data shared by Centro Talent in accordance with applicable data protection law
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, design, graphics, logos, and branding — is the property of Centro Talent Limited or its licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual property law.
You may view and print pages from the Site for your personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from the Site for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property rights to you.
7. Confidentiality
Any information shared between Centro Talent and a Client or Candidate in the course of our services — including details of searches, shortlists, compensation, and business requirements — is treated as confidential by both parties. Neither party shall disclose such information to third parties without the other's consent, except as required by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
• Centro Talent provides its website and services on an "as is" basis and makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding their fitness for any particular purpose.
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from your use of the Site or our services, including loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of information provided by Candidates to Clients, or for the suitability of any Candidate for a given role. Clients are responsible for their own due diligence, including verification of qualifications and references.
• Our total liability to any party in connection with these terms shall not exceed the fees paid or payable by that party to Centro Talent in the twelve months preceding the relevant claim.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
9. Third-party links
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites, including LinkedIn and other platforms. These links are provided for convenience only. Centro Talent has no control over and accepts no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites.
10. Privacy and data protection
The collection and use of personal data in connection with our Site and services is governed by our Privacy & Cookie Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference and is available on our Site. By using our Site or engaging our services, you confirm you have read and understood our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate their engagement with Centro Talent's services at any time by written notice. Termination does not affect any accrued rights or obligations — in particular, any fee obligations arising from a Placement made prior to termination remain payable in full.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a Candidate's or Client's access to our services if we believe these terms have been breached, or if continued engagement would be contrary to law or our legitimate business interests.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. If you continue to use our Site or services after changes are posted, you will be deemed to have accepted the updated terms. For material changes affecting active commercial arrangements, we will seek to provide reasonable notice.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
